Selected by the Tigers in the 13th round of the 2015 MLB Draft out of the University of Missouri (signing scout: Marty Miller)... signed by the Tigers as a Minor League free agent Nov. 19, 2021... previously selected by Cleveland in the 30th round of the 2012 MLB Draft, but did not sign.

2023

Began the season with Triple-A Norfolk and became the 10th player in Tides history to have a three-homer game on April 1, 2023 at Durham in the second game of the year... Lester was the first Tides player to have a 3-homer day since Ryan McKenna produced a pair on May 11 and May 22, 2022

2022

Signed with the Detroit Tigers as a free agent on Nov. 19, 2021 and spent most of the season with Triple-A Toledo, where he hit .246 with 29 homers and 99 RBIs in 145 games... the Tigers called him up for his Major League debut on Sept. 5, 2022 and he went 0-for-5 in two games with Detroit... Lester elected free agency in November and signed with the Baltimore Orioles on Dec. 6, 2022

2021

Spent most of the 2021 season with Double-A Erie, playing in 84 games...also saw time at the Triple-A level, appearing in 25 games with Toledo...Had a four-hit performance May 20 vs. Binghamton, going 4-for-5 with two doubles, a triple and three RBI...Selected Double-A Northeast Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending August 29 after hitting .333/.400/.815 with two doubles, a triple, three home runs and eight RBI in six games...Earned Tigers Minor League Player of the Month and Double-A Northeast Player of the Month honors for August, batting .363/.427/.950 with seven doubles, two triples, 12 home runs and 25 RBI in 22 games...had three multi-homer efforts for Erie during the month, hitting two round-trippers Aug. 7 at Harrisburg, Aug. 10 vs. Altoona and Aug. 20 at Richmond...Posted consecutive multi-homer games for Triple-A Toledo on Sept. 10-11 at Iowa.

2019

Played in 106 games with Double A Erie in 2019...Named a Tigers Organization All-Star by MiLB.com...Ranked fifth in the Eastern League with 17 home runs...Drove in five runs and went 3x4 with a double on July 21 at Richmond.

2018

Appeared in a career-high 127 games in 2018 as he spent the entire season with Double A Erie and was named the affiliate’s Co-Player of the Year...Named a Tigers Organization All-Star by MiLB.com...Ranked third in the Eastern League with 61 walks, while he was fourth with 75 RBI, tied for fourth with 21 home runs, tied for sixth with 46 extra-base hits, seventh with 211 total bases and ninth with 71 runs scored...Went a perfect 4x4 with a double and a solo home run on July 27 vs. Akron...Blasted a pair of solo homers in the first game of the doubleheader on July 28 vs. Akron...Selected Eastern League Player of the Week for the week ending August 26 after hitting .393/.438/1.107 with two doubles, six home runs and 11 RBI...drove in six runs on August 20 vs. Akron and had a two-homer game on August 24 at Bowie...Earned Tigers Player of the Month honors for August, batting .279/.345/.587 with eight doubles, eight home runs and 23 RBI.
