PERSONAL
♦ Selected by Baltimore in the 1st round (21st overall) of the 2017 draft.
♦ Attended Valdosta High School (GA), where he earned Region 1-6A Player of the Year honors after a senior season that saw him post a 1.36 ERA with 105 strikeouts in 51.1 IP. He also batted .349 with five home runs and 33 RBI during his senior year of high school.
♦ During the summer of 2016, he played in the Under Armour All-America Baseball Game at Wrigley Field and the Perfect Game All-American Game at Petco Park.
