♦ Appeared in 12 games (11 starts) for Class-A Aberdeen, going 2-2 with a 1.66 ERA.

♦ Limited NYPL batters to a .182 average, with right-handers batting just .166 against him.
♦ Struck out 12 batters over 6.0 no-hit innings, 9/2 at Tri-Cities.
PERSONAL
♦ Selected by Baltimore in the 2nd round (#74 overall) of the 2017 draft.
♦ Attended Xavier University, and was the highest-ever Musketeer selected in the draft.
♦ Was an All-BIG EAST First Team selection during his junior season, setting a Xavier single-season strikeout record with 123 punchouts during the 2017 campaign. The 123 strikeouts ranked 12th among Division 1 pitchers. Was also named to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team in 2017 and was named Preseason All-BIG EAST.
♦ Was a college roommate for two years with infielder Rylan Bannon, who was acquired by Baltimore from Los Angeles in a 2018 trade that sent IF Manny Machado to the Dodgers.
♦ Xavier University has produced Hall of Famers Jim Bunning and Frank Robinson.
♦ Led the Cape Cod League with 54 strikeouts during the summer of 2016.
♦ Played for the Cuyahoga Heights (OH) football and baseball teams in high school. Led the Greater Cleveland area with 148 strikeouts and had a 0.55 ERA during his 2013 season.
♦ Was First Team All-Ohio during his senior year, a season that included an 18-strikeout game and an OHSAA Division IV State Runner-Up finish.
