Went 1-for-13 with an RBI, two walks and two runs scored in WBC qualifiers for Great Britain in September, helping the team advance to Pool C in Phoenix, Arizona... spent the regular season in the Minors with Springfield and Memphis, hitting .291 with 14 homers, 59 RBIs and 12 steals in 108 games, mostly at Double-A... was named Texas League Player of the Week on Aug. 14 after hitting for the cycle with Springfield
