Signed with the Colorado Rockies as an undrafted free agent on Aug. 8, 2019... pitched four seasons at Division II Regis University in Westminster, Colorado... went to Sunnyslope High School in his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona... had spent time in the United Shore Professional Baseball League and the California Winter League before joining the Rockies organization... earned four wins and had a 3.35 ERA with the Eastside Diamond Hoppers in the USPBL, earning All-Star honors... he was the sixth USPBL player to sign with an MLB organization in 2019... did not play in 2020 after the season was cancelled by the Covid-19 pandemic... promoted to Double-A Hartford in 2022 after opening the season with Fresno.
Honors at Regis include being named to the 2018 All-RMAC First Team, the 2018 RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll, the 2017 RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll and the 2016 RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll... had a career-high 11 strikeouts vs. MSU Denver on March 31, 2018... ranked second on the team and tied for fourth in the RMAC with six wins in 2018 as a senior... appeared in 59 games with Regis from 2015-18, earning 19 wins, mostly as a starter... finished his collegiate career 19-18 with a 4.75 ERA and 236 strikeouts in 275 innings.
Was a 2014 graduate of Sunnyslope High School where he helped the school to a Division II State title in 2012 and a runner-up finish in 2013… named Second Team All-Division in 2014… in 2013 he had a 0.75 ERA with 27 strikeouts in 28 innings… as a senior had a 2.56 ERA in 13 appearances with 43 strikeouts in 63 innings… also hit .303 last season with 19 runs batted in and eight doubles… plays for ASBA where he had 20 strikeouts and a 0.41 ERA... participated in two mission trips to the Dominican Republic..
