H-E-B will be administering the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. This vaccine only requires one dose to become fully vaccinated, unlike Pfizer or Moderna, which requires two doses.
It is highly encouraged, that everyone receiving the vaccine completes the consent form legibly and completely before arrival to help expedite the check-in process. There are 2 pages to the consent form that need be completed prior to your appointment time. Filling out the consent form is the longest part of the entire process, so completing the form prior to your vaccination appointment will help ensure that the clinic will run smoothly. H-E-B will provide extra consent forms on-site.
The vaccination is free; however there is a medication administration fee that is processed through your insurance. Everyone with insurance will need to bring a copy of their pharmacy AND medical insurance cards to the clinic. Those without insurance will still be able to get vaccinated, but will need to provide their Social Security Number on the consent form. Those without a Social Security Number will still be able to receive the vaccine as well.
