The Isotopes players are committed to giving back to the community and making visits to various locations throughout the season. Please note that players are only available on select days from April to September and are subject to availability. Please allow at least four weeks advanced notice.

In preparation for AAPI Night, Isotopes players Aaron Schunk, Josh Rogers and John Curtiss visited Ka la Kapu Polynesian Dance School. They learned hula and about the Hawaiian culture through dance.
Julio Carreras, Willie MacIver and Coco Montes, along with special guests Keith and Ana Sanchez from the New Mexico Academy of Rock and Blues, visited the Sandoval Academy of bilingual Education. Keith and Ana taught a poetry workshop in which the students assisted the players to create a poem called ‘Where I’m From." This was a creative learning experience for both the players and the students.
Peyton Battenfield, Jeff Criswell and Grant Lavigne participated in a yoga class with breast cancer survivors at the Pink Warrior House in anticipation of our Strikeout Breast Cancer Night on May 31. The Pink Warrior House provides support and services for those battling breast cancer and their caregivers such as counseling, yoga, nutritional support, classes and experiences.
Isotopes Players Julio Carreras, Stephen Jones, Hunter Stovall and Trevor Boone, season ticket holders, and administrative staff took a line dancing class at the Dirty Bourbon Dance Hall & Saloon in preparation for Country Night at Isotopes Park.
Isotopes pitchers Peyton Battenfield and John Curtiss read to kids in the community as they received free lunches at the park with KRQE Cares Books for Kids & Storytime in the Park.
Isotopes Players Hartlieb, Romo and Ponticelli along with staff members Forest Stulting, Nicole Psota, Sara Shoemate and Michelle Montoya went to the APS Clothing Bank to help fill backpacks with school supplies for kids in need.
Trevor Boone, Peyton Battenfield, Christopher Navarro and Juan Hillman learned new skills from the Incredible Adaptive MMA athletes and coaches at Jackson Wink MMA Academy.
Peyton Battenfield, Drew Romo, Trevor Boone and Daniel Cope helped brighten the days of pediatric patients at Presbyterian Hospital, having conversations and signing autographs for children.
Peyton Battenfield, Juan Hillman, Carson Palmquist, and Jameson Hannah volunteered at the Roadrunner Food Bank along with Isotopes staff members, filling bags of pasta for hungry families in need.
Juan Hillman, John Curtiss, Cristopher Navarro, Yanquiel Fernández, and Nolan Clifford joined the New Mexico Youth Arts Ambassadors to create a "corrido."
April 6: Coco Montes and Jameson Hannah celebrated literacy with Comanche Elementary by reading to the kids for their CUBS Day!
April 22: Karl Kauffmann, Aaron Schunk, Jeff Criswell and Josh Rogers attended the New Mexico Academy of Rock and Blues and played the guitar and other instruments to learn a Mariachi song with the students.
May 27: Isotopes players and coaches provided instruction to kids ages 5-15 with hitting, fielding, pitching and conditioning drills during the first Youth Skills Clinic of the summer.
June 10: Jeff Criswell, PJ Poulin, Logan Allen, Eli Lingos and pitching coach Chris Michalak volunteered for the second annual Adaptive Clinic as part of Play Ball Weekend.
July 27: Trevor Boone, Yorvis Torrealba, Daniel Cope, Aaron Schunk, Kyle Johnston joined several Isotopes front office members volunteered at Roadrunner Food Bank to help families in need.
July 29: Isotopes players and coaches provided instruction to kids ages 5-15 with hitting, fielding, pitching and conditioning drills during the first Youth Skills Clinic of the summer.
September 20: Daniel Cope, Willie MacIver and Michael Toglia spent an afternoon as personal shoppers for local children at Locker 505 Student's Clothing Bank.
April 14: Frank Duncan, Brandon Gold, Matt Dennis and Greg Jones visited Ka La Kapu Polynesian Dance School to learn about the Polynesian culture and learn hula from the young kids.
April 27: Reagan Todd and Frank Duncan read books to children at Annunciation Catholic School as Royal Readers.
May 25: Nate Griep, Jake Bird, Nick Kennedy and Ryan Vilade participated in a Lowrider Patternz Class by local artists Rob Vanderslice and Joseph “Blast” Leyba to learn some lowrider painting techniques. They also designed specialty skateboard decks that were auctioned off Lowrider Night at the ballpark.
May 28: LJ Hatch and Wynton Bernard visited the young patients at the University of New Mexico Children’s Hospital.
June 9: Jake Bird, Reagan Todd, Nate Griep and JD Hammer visited Albuquerque Fire Rescue Station 1 to show their support of the first responders.
June 30: Kyle Holder and Orbit took time to read to children as part of KRQE Cares Storytime in the Park.
July 28: Warren Schaeffer, Jordan Pacheco and D.J. Peterson visited lots of furry friends at Animal Humane New Mexico.
September 16: Wynton Bernard, Coco Montes, LJ Hatch and D.J. Peterson attended the Albuquerque Sign Language Academy to learn some sign and to get to know the students.
