The second ever Mariachis de Nuevo México (39-38) game went in the home team's favor once again as they defeated the Dorados de Sacramento (34-44), 13-8. Isotopes Park drew 12,551 fans for the largest attendance on a Tuesday night that did not involve the Fourth of July or Manny Ramirez rehab from 2009.

The Mariachis erupted for five runs in the opening frame, highlighted by back-to-back home runs from Mike Tauchman and Jordan Patterson. Nuevo México had another big inning in the seventh, exploding for seven runs to put the Dorados out of reach.
Tauchman, Patterson and Josh Fuentes each had three hits in the contest and combined for eight RBI. Patterson was a triple away from hitting for the cycle while Fuentes was a home run shy of the feat.
Brett Oberholtzer picked up his fourth win on the mound, yielding five runs and six hits over 6.0 innings.
Albuquerque and Sacramento continue their series Wednesday with lefty Sam Howard slated to start for the Isotopes. First pitch from Isotopes Park is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
