ERIE, Pa. - The Altoona Curve held off a late threat from the Erie SeaWolves to pick up a 5-3 win on Saturday night at UPMC Park, snapping their three-game losing streak.
The Curve (36-32) and SeaWolves (32-40) were originally scheduled to play a double-header on Saturday, but instead played a single, nine-inning game after play was delayed by two hours and 38 minutes due to wet grounds.

The SeaWolves answered with solo homers by Jacob Robson and
Vasquez picked up his second consecutive win after allowing three runs over five innings with one walk and six strikeouts. Hartlieb struck out five over his two innings, working around two hits and a walk.
Martin finished the night with three hits, including a double and an RBI, and he scored two runs. Craig went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI.
The second game of the scheduled double-header was postponed. A make-up date has not yet been announced.
With the win, the Curve remain in third place in the Eastern League Western Division, a half-game behind second-place Harrisburg and three games behind first-place Akron.
