The Beloit Sky Carp are pleased to announce they are teaming up with First National Bank and Trust to continue their mission of improving the quality of life in our community.

The latest project? Selecting a local Little League field and giving it a professional renovation job.

Sky Carp groundskeeper Jaymeson Wilcox will lead the group of temporary groundskeepers (namely members of the Sky Carp front office staff and employees of First National) to a renovation of a local field.

Community members are encouraged to submit a local field (must be in the Stateline region) that needs a serious makeover. A committee, comprised of Sky Carp and First National Bank and Trust employees, will review all submissions and determine the field most in need.

The field will be selected by mid-September, with the project set for completion by the end of September.

In order for your field to be considered for the renovation project, your submission must include the following:

• Name of the Field
• Address of the Field
• Photos showcasing the field
• A brief synopsis of why the field is in need of a renovation
• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number

The submission deadline is Friday, September 2nd at 7:00 PM CST. You must submit your field by this date and time for it to be considered.
