Maria Valentyn, a Milwaukee area native, is in the midst of her tenth year in Minor League Baseball. She joined the Sky Carp as the VP - Entertainment in April 2021 to assist with the team's move to ABC Supply Stadium and rebrand to the Sky Carp following the 2021 season. Prior to joining the Sky Carp, she spent 6 years out East in marketing roles within Minor League Baseball, including the last two as Director of Sponsorship Services with the Lehigh Iron Pigs, the Phillies’ AAA affiliate.

Not only will you enjoy an excellent spread of food, you'll also have an opportunity to hear from a panel of local women leaders on their experiences in the workplace, the keys to their sustained success and pathways forward for women in all sectors of the workforce.
Doors for the luncheon open at 11:30 AM with the panel beginning at 12:00 PM. Sky Carp Vice President of Entertainment, Maria Valentyn, will moderate the Q&A session and then open it up for questions from the audience. The event will conclude at 1:30 PM.
The women on this panel, including a representative from First National Bank and Trust, come from a variety of backgrounds and work in vastly different roles and industries. More information on our panelists coming soon!

Anna Toye is a seasoned Human Resources professional with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Anna serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer for First National Bank and Trust, where she leads the development and implementation of strategic HR programs for the bank. Anna graduated from Loras College with a degree in Human Resources Management and has earned the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Society for Human Resources Management Certified Practitioner (SHRM-CP) certificate.
Oakleigh Ryan is founding Principal of Whiton House, a boutique management consultancy and engagement institute based in Janesville, Wisconsin. Prior to Whiton House, Oakleigh served as Vice-President of Service Excellence for Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare and as Knowledge Management leader for Studer Group, a consulting firm that was an early pioneer in evidence-based leadership. Her work experience includes both local and international perspectives as well having led Business Development for SmithKline Clinical Laboratories Europe.

Carol Hatch is one of Wisconsin’s most highly respected estate planning lawyers. Carol’s practice is centered in helping clients achieve their goals in passing on assets that represent their life’s work. She advises individuals and businesses on taxation, trusts, probate, and succession planning.
Carol served for many years on the Board of the State Bar of Wisconsin's Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section, including as Chair of the Section. Carol lectures extensively in the community and has taught estate planning and probate at the University of Wisconsin Law School.
She has served on the boards of both Cedar Crest, Inc. and the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School, Carol and her husband have two grown children, three grandchildren, and a dog. Away from her practice, Carol enjoys ballroom dancing, biking and boating.
Vanessa Dubick is the CEO of United Alloy, a custom metal fabrication and powder coating company headquartered in Janesville. Prior to moving back to the area to work in the family business 10 years ago, Vanessa held various roles in finance and operations in manufacturing organizations both in the US and internationally. She holds degrees in Accounting and Sociology from Notre Dame and earned her MBA from Northwestern University.
