Baseball Camp

The Bowie Baysox are offering three Youth Baseball Camp sessions during the summer of 2022! Each camp session will take place at Prince George’s Stadium - home of the Bowie Baysox! Camps will include instruction, drills and games and will be led by Orioles Hall of Fame Outfielder - AL BUMBRY, former Baysox Outfielder Steven Bumbry and other professional and collegiate instructors!

Registration is limited in each session and each session is open to kids ages 6 - 14.

Youth Baseball Camp Session #1
July 6 - July 8
With Orioles Hall of Famer Al Bumbry

SESSION #1 IS SOLD OUT

Youth Baseball Camp Session #1 is a three-day Camp that will run Wednesday, July 6 - Friday, July 8 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm daily. This camp includes three days of baseball, a Baysox Hat and a final day pizza party! Registration will also include one (1) Undated Box Seat Ticket voucher valid for a 2022 Bowie Baysox Home Game.

This camp session will be run by Baltimore Orioles Hall of Famer, Al Bumbry and former Baysox Outfielder, Steven Bumbry alongside other former professional and collegiate baseball players who will run this camp session.

Camp Set Up

Maximum of 60 campers (Open to ages 6-14)
Two Days of On-Field Instruction from former professional and collegiate players
One Day of mini baseball games on the field
One (1) Baysox Hat
Final Day Pizza Party for campers!
One (1) Undated Box Seat Ticket Voucher to a 2022 Bowie Baysox home game

Camp Safety Information & Protocols

Each camper must bring their own personal water/Powerade bottle(s) marked with their name each day. No cups, or shared water jugs will be available. Baysox will provide a water bottle filling station for each day of camp.
Each camper must provide their own equipment (Bat, Glove and Batting Helmet) and equipment bag. No sharing of equipment will be permitted.
Each piece of a camper's equipment should be marked with the campers name.
Campers should wear sneakers, not cleats to each day of the camp.
Camp will follow current CDC and county guidelines regarding masks and health/safety protocols as it relates to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. This could include wearing masks, temperature checks, limited number of camp observers per day, etc.
Mr. Bumbry's appearance is subject to change without notice.

July 18-20

Youth Baseball Camp Session #1 is a three-day Camp that will run Monday, July 18 - Wednesday, July 20 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm daily. This camp includes three days of baseball, a Baysox Hat and a final day pizza party! Registration will also include one (1) Undated Box Seat Ticket voucher valid for a 2022 Bowie Baysox Home Game.

Youth Baseball Camp Session #3 is a FIVE-DAY Camp that will run Monday, August 1 - Friday, August 5 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm daily. This camp includes three days of baseball instruction, two game days, a Baysox Hat and a final day pizza party! Registration will also include one (1) Box Seat Ticket to a 2022 Bowie Baysox Home Game.
