We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic Graphic Designer & Game Presentation Assistant to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a crucial role in shaping our visual brand and enhancing the game-day experience for our fans.
Job Summary: The Graphic Designer & Game Presentation Assistant will be responsible for creating engaging visual content for digital and print platforms, as well as assisting with in-game presentations and entertainment. This role requires a blend of design skills and a passion for sports, ensuring that every graphic and presentation element contributes to an exciting and memorable experience at Huntington Park.
Key Responsibilities:
Graphic Design:
- Develop visually appealing graphics for a variety of media, including social media, website, email campaigns, print materials, and in-stadium signage.
- Design game-day programs and promotional materials with team branding and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing, tickets, and events departments to create graphics that drive fan engagement and support promotional initiatives.
- Maintain and update design assets, ensuring consistency to brand guidelines.
Game Presentation Assistance:
- Support game-day presentation by creating and managing on-screen graphics, animations, and videos.
- Assist in the coordination of in-game promotions, including video board content, fan interactions, and live event graphics.
- Work closely with the game presentation team to ensure smooth execution of pre-game, in-game, and post-game activities.
- Help troubleshoot technical issues related to graphics and video presentations during games.
- Have general knowledge of baseball statistics, records, and positions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a sports related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in graphic design, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of design principles and ability to create visually compelling content.
- Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects) is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Passion for baseball and sports entertainment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Capability to work in a stadium environment, which may involve extended periods of standing or sitting.
