Greensboro Hornets
The Greensboro Hornets won three consecutive South Atlantic League championships from 1980-82. The Hornets, now known as the Greensboro Grasshoppers, played their home games at War Memorial Stadium. Notable Hornets alumni include Derek Jeter, Don Mattingly, Otis Nixon, Andy Pettitte, and Jorge Posada.
