Havana Sugar Kings
The Havana Sugar Kings were members of the International League from 1954-1960. Against the backdrop of the Cuban Revolution the club won the league title in 1959, after which the Sugar Kings were shifted to Jersey City, New Jersey.
The club's red and blue uniforms evoked those of the Cuban flag, as well as the colors of the top Cuban league teams of the era, Havana and Almendares.
