The Details:

Join United Way of Greenville County and the Greenville Drive for United Way Night at the Drive at Fluor Field on Tuesday, July 30! This annual event celebrates our incredible community as well as the transformational impact United Way makes every day—all while enjoying the fun of a Greenville Drive baseball game!

Celebrating back-to-school season, this year’s United Way Night features a wide variety of meaningful experiences perfect for the entire family:

DISTRICT 356 UNITED WAY EXPERIENCE (5–7 P.M.)
Join us just outside the stadium at District 356, where we’ll have music, interactive games, and a “Stuff the Bus” donation drive for back-to-school supplies and non-perishable food items (you can find a list of needed items here). Those making a donation will be rewarded with a complimentary single scoop of Sweet Caroline’s ice cream at the game that night.

Attendees can also participate in onsite volunteer opportunities, including packing teacher appreciation bags and student menstrual kits, or filming a special thank-you message to school staff to help kick off the year.

Featured hands-on activities will include/be provided by:

  • Children's Theatre
  • Greenville County School Bus
  • Fire Truck
  • Fire House
  • Dodge Industries - Stem Program
  • Michelin - Robotics Team

BALLPARK GATES OPEN (6 P.M.)

The first 200 fans through the Main Street Gates will receive a 2024 Live United Appreciation Card featuring exclusive offers and experiences at dozens of restaurants and other business across Greenville County! The party will continue throughout the game with special programming celebrating the game-changing impact of United Way donors and volunteers. United Way community partners will also be on hand around the concourse to share fun educational activities and other local resources available to families as they prepare for the school year.

FIRST PITCH OF THE GREENVILLE DRIVE GAME VS. THE WILMINGTON BLUE ROCKS (7:05 P.M.)
United Way of Greenville County: The people, the organization, and the years of community impact will be prominently featured and showcased across all aspects of the Drive game all night long!

Special Notes:

  • District 356 Street Party is complimentary! No ticket needed to attend.
  • Stuff the Bus Needs include:
    • Non-perishable food items including: rice, sugar, salt, cereal, maseca (corn flour), canned meat, and more
    • School supplies including: book bag, colored pencils, composition book, crayons, ear buds, ink pens, No. 2 pencils and more.
