ALCOHOL SERVICE POLICY
No alcoholic beverages may be brought through the gates or taken outside of Hillsboro Ballpark.
Valid I.D. is required for purchase. All guests must be 21 years of age to purchase an alcoholic beverage. A guest that appears to be 30 years of age or younger must produce a valid form of acceptable identification. Acceptable forms of valid United States identification for alcoholic beverage purchases are: U.S. Driver's License, Passport, State Issued I.D. Card w/ Photo, Military I.D. w/ Photo. International Driver's Licenses are not accepted. Passports are required in those instances.
Alcohol service is limited to no more than two drinks per person, per identification. All alcoholic beverage sales will be discontinued at the third out of the seventh inning. Government Warning: According to the Surgeon General, women should not drink alcoholic beverages during pregnancy because of the risk of birth defects.
ANIMALS
Animals/pets are not allowed within the ballpark. Certified guide dogs are allowed.
Per ADA Requirements, service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Examples of such work or tasks include guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, reminding a person with mental illness to take prescribed medications, calming a person with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during an anxiety attack, or performing other duties. Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person's disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
ANTHEM SINGERS
The Hillsboro Hops are seeking musicians to sing or perform the National Anthem for all home games. If you would like to be considered, please submit one of the following: mp3, mp4, or YouTube video of you or your group performing The Star-Spangled Banner to [email protected] with the subject line "National Anthem Submission".
Along with your submission, please include your name, phone number, email address, past performance experience, and availability. Anthem singers will be asked to perform acapella and without lyrics available, so please consider that when submitting your performance. We are also seeking performers who currently know the Canadian Anthem as well, so please note that in your submission and include an example of your performance of O Canada.
Due to the number of entries we receive, we must ask that you do not call or email to check on the status of your submission. A representative of the Hops will contact you only if you are chosen to perform.
AUTOGRAPHS
Fans are permitted to seek autographs from players along the railing to the field. Players are not permitted to sign autographs while the game is in progress.
AUTOGRAPH CORNER
Prior to every home game, kids 3-12 years of age have the opportunity to come on the field and get autographs from players. Kids can access the autograph corner between sections 4 & 5. Only children will be allowed on the field and autographing players may vary.

BANNERS & SIGNS
Banners & signs are permitted in the stadium as long as they do not obstruct the view of guests or block stadium signage. Banners & signs must be event related, in good taste, and not commercial, political, or offensive in nature. All signs must be hand-held; signs on sticks larger than 18 inches are not permitted. The Hillsboro Hops reserve the right to remove any sign.
BOTTLES AND CANS
No bottles, cans or outside beverages are permitted in Hillsboro Ballpark. Exceptions are made for sealed/unopened water bottles, baby bottles and health-related materials.
CAMERAS, AUDIO AND VIDEO RECORDERS
- Photos are for personal use only
- Videotaping game action is prohibited
- Professional grade cameras and cameras with detachable lenses are prohibited and require a media credential to gain access to the ballpark
- Camera and equipment aren’t obstructing any views, or interrupting other fans’ enjoyment of the game
- Any camera equipment that doesn't meet the following parameters will require a media credential to gain entry to the ballpark
CELL PHONES
The use of cellular phones is permitted inside provided they do not interfere with other guests' enjoyment of an event. Please be alert while game is in progress. There are TeamLogic IT charging stations located on the 1st and 3rd base concourses.
Guests that witness other guests in violation of the Hops' code of conduct or have other concerns may text their issue to 503-640-0887. (message and data rates may apply). Guests should include their seat location with their text.
CHAIRS
Lawn chairs, or any chairs with legs, are not permitted inside Ron Tonkin Field.
CHILDREN
Children under the age of 2 are free but must sit on adult's lap.
CONDUCT
Guests who use foul or abusive language or who appear intoxicated will be removed from the ballpark.
CREDIT CARD POLICY
Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted at Hillsboro Ballpark.

FAN GROUND RULES
Hillsboro Ballpark and its employees are committed to providing our guests with an enjoyable, safe atmosphere. Our staff will proactively intervene to support a family-oriented environment where all guests can enjoy the baseball experience free from the following behaviors:
• Foul, offensive or derogatory language or gestures
• Intoxication or other signs of impairment
• Displays of affection not appropriate in a public, family setting
• Obscene or indecent clothing; clothing must be appropriate for a public, family setting. Footwear and shirts must be worn.
• Any disruption to the progress of the game by guest's actions or unauthorized person on the playing field
• Guests seated in a location other than their ticketed seat
• Smoking, vaping, marijuana or any tobacco use
Note:
• Guests interfering with a ball in play will be ejected.
• Guests appearing intoxicated will be denied entry or ejected from the ballpark.
• Any guest found throwing objects on the field or in the seating areas will be ejected.
• Unauthorized entry on to the field of play will result in immediate removal from Hillsboro Ballpark.
FAN MAIL
Anyone wishing to send cards, letters, etc. to any player, coach, or broadcaster of the Hillsboro Hops may do so through the following address: Hillsboro Hops, 4460 NE Century Blvd., Hillsboro, OR 97124 - Attn: Specific Player, Coach, or Broadcaster.
If you are mailing anything in to be autographed, please read the following Autograph policy:
Hillsboro Hops staff is unable to accept merchandise to be autographed. Fans seeking autographs must mail their item directly to the individual player at 4460 NE Century Blvd., Hillsboro, OR 97124. It is best to send correspondence during the regular season, between the months of June and September. Please include the name of the player as well as a self-addressed stamped package for return of the item. The package will be placed in the player's mailbox. We recommend that you do not send anything of value, as the team cannot guarantee return of the item. The sender assumes all risks when mailing an item. The volume of mail may also prevent players from responding to every request they receive. Additionally, we are not able to process any requests for team-autographed items nor are we able to track players' mail to see if an item was received. We appreciate your understanding.
FIRST AID
An emergency team and ambulance are present at every Hops game behind Section 13. For emergency assistance, contact the nearest Hops employee and the emergency personnel will be sent.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE POLICY
No outside food or beverage is allowed in Hillsboro Ballpark. Exceptions are made for sealed/unopened water bottles, baby bottles and health-related materials.
FOUL BALLS
Fans are welcome to keep any foul ball hit or thrown in to the stands. However, any fan interfering with a ball in play will be ejected from the ballpark. Please stay alert because any ball or thrown bat can be potentially dangerous.
GATES
Gates open one hour, five minutes prior to game time. Example: 7:05pm game, gates will open at 6:00pm.
GIFT CARDS
The Hops offer a Hops Gift Card that can be used at the Hillsboro Ballpark Office and all Team Shop locations. The cards can be purchased and reloaded at the Hops Team Shop or All Hopped Up merchandise kiosk on the 3rd base concourse. Gift Cards are available in any amount $10 and above. Gift Cards cannot be used for concessions or online.
GUEST SERVICES
The Hops Guest Services table is located by The Vine merchandise kiosk on the 3rd base concourse behind Section 14. You can find information regarding Kids Club, First Game Certificates, Rosters/Stats, First Pitch Check-In, Lost & Found, Group Lists, Fan Grams for a $50 donation to the Hillsboro Hops Fund at the Hillsboro Community Foundation.
KIDS CLUB
The Short Hops Kids Club is free to join and is open to kids ages 3-12. Membership benefits include:

- Exclusive pre-game autograph sessions with Hops players

LOST AND FOUND
Fans who have lost or found an item during an event should report to the Guest Services booth located next to The Vine merchandise kiosk, across from Section 14. At the conclusion of each event, the items are stored at Guest Services where they will be kept for a period of time before unclaimed items are donated or removed. You can contact a representative (503-640-0887) between 9:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.
LOST PARENTS/FOUND CHILDREN
Parents should report a lost child to a guest services representative. Children who become separated from their parents at the game are brought to the Guest Services booth on the main concourse until the guardian is located.
LOST TICKETS
Please monitor your tickets at all times by keeping them in a safe, secure place. The Hillsboro Hops are not responsible for lost or stolen tickets and they will not be replaced.

PARKING
There are approximately 2,000 parking spaces at the Gordon Faber Recreation Complex where Hillsboro Ballpark is located. The parking is managed by the City of Hillsboro and costs $6.
POSTPONED OR CANCELED GAMES
The Hillsboro Hops make every possible attempt to complete or make up every home game. However, in the event of an unfortunate rain-out or other circumstance, in which five (5) innings have not been completed (4 1/2 if the home team is leading):
- Single Game Tickets from any regular season home game that was re-scheduled due to inclement weather or other circumstances out of our control will be honored through a ticket voucher - exchangeable for a ticket of equal or lesser value - to any remaining regular season game (excluding July 3rd and July 4th).
- Package Tickets from any regular season home game that was re-scheduled due to inclement weather or other circumstances out of our control will be returned for credit to the package holders account (Must be used in same season).
- Vouchers or credit from a rainout do not automatically grant entry into the re-scheduled game(s). Vouchers and credit must be exchanged for a new game day ticket online through your MyHops Ticket account, at the Box Office, or by calling the front office at (503) 640-0887.
PROHIBITED AND RESTRICTED ITEMS
The following items are not allowed inside the ballpark:
- Any noisemaker that disrupts play on the field OR fan experience, including air horns
- Alcohol not purchased at Hillsboro Ballpark
- Beach balls and other inflatables
- Costume masks that cover the face for individuals over the age of 14
- Glass bottles and cans
- Illegal drugs
- Firearms and other weapons such as knives
- Fireworks
- Laser devices and pointers
- Lawn chairs or any chair with legs
- Skateboards/rollerblades
- Sticks and clubs
- Tents
- Toy guns/knives
- Unmanned aerial vehicles
PROMOTIONAL GIVEAWAY POLICY
All giveaway items will be distributed on the game day specified, when the gates open, on a first-come, first-served basis. Each ticketed guest that is within any specified age limit will receive one (1) giveaway item (while supplies last). Guests with multiple tickets will only receive one item per person; there is no re-entry at Hillsboro Ballpark, so guests cannot go in and out to get multiple items. Children who do not need a ticket will be issued one (1) giveaway item, so long as they are within any specified age limit. There are no exceptions to this policy and all determinations by the Hillsboro Hops are final. Giveaway dates, items, and quantities are subject to change. The Hillsboro Hops reserve the right to modify this policy at any time.
RADIO BROADCAST
Hops games are broadcast locally in the Portland metro area with Rich Burk, Matt Richert and Seth Hoiland on 620 AM Rip City Radio. You can listen via hillsborohops.com or ripcityradio.com.
Radios and televisions are permitted in the stadium so long as they do not disturb other fans. For the benefit of others, fans listening to broadcasts are required to use headsets.
RE-ENTRY
Re-entry to the ballpark is not allowed once the venue is vacated. Please plan accordingly for changing weather conditions.
RESTROOMS
There are two sets of restrooms located in the concourse area on the 3rd base side and one set on the 1st base side.
RIDE SHARE
Ride share pick-up and drop-off is right outside the front gates. Ride share drivers should enter through Gate B.
RUN THE BASES
After Saturday & Sunday home games, kids 3-12 years of age have the opportunity to Run the Bases. At the beginning of the ninth inning, kids and their families may line up at the top of the stairs between sections 4 & 5. Kids are allowed to run the bases one time and will rejoin their families before exiting the field at the top of section 8. Kids must be able to run the bases on their own; no adults will be allowed on to the field.
SEATING
Hops staff members check tickets at all game in an attempt to protect seat value. Upgrades are available.
SECURITY
Security is provided by Knox Security. Should an issue arise during your time at the ballpark, approach the nearest security officer or staff member or visit the Guest Services booth on the third base side.
SMOKING/TOBACCO
In compliance with the City of Hillsboro municipal code, smoking of any kind and tobacco are prohibited in all areas of parks property on the Gordon Faber Recreation Complex. This includes the use of Vapor Cigarettes or 'E Cigarettes' and the use of chewing tobacco. There is no re-entry for fans that leave the ballpark to smoke cigarettes or use any other tobacco-related product.
SOLICITING
Soliciting of any products, services and/or monetary donations in Ron Tonkin Field or on the surrounding area is strictly prohibited. This includes the parking lot. Violators will be escorted from the property.
STROLLERS
Strollers are allowed in the ballpark as long as they can be stored under a seat and do not obstruct walkways or other fans' seating.
UMBRELLAS
Umbrellas are permitted in the stadium provided they do not interfere with other guests' enjoyment of an event.
VIDEO BOARD MESSAGES
If you'd like to put a message on the video board at Hillsboro Ballpark during a Hops game, you can purchase an announcement in advance by calling the Hops office at 503-640-0887 or stopping-in. We accept cash or credit/debit card for a $50 donation to the Hillsboro Hops Fund.

WATER FOUNTAINS
Water fountains are located at sections between the restrooms on the 1st base concourse and near the elevator in the middle of the 3rd base concourse.
