Witsken's second mural brings the Indians’ most recent championship to life and features closer Bob Scanlan, who led the International League with a franchise-record 35 saves in 2000 to be named Team MVP.
Sept. 21, 2000: Just three years into joining the International League, the Indians fought their way to a Governors' Cup title against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre before ascending to the top of Triple-A baseball with a 3-1 series victory over Memphis in the Triple-A World Series in Las Vegas. The Indians rolled to a 9-2 triumph in the Game 4 clincher, led by Horacio Estrada – the IL leader with 14 wins that season – who tossed 8.0 two-run innings to earn the victory, and Bob Scanlan, who notched two strikeouts in a 1-2-3 ninth inning.
