Werth, a 2009 National League All-Star outfielder who is currently a member of the Philadelphia Phillies was a member of the 1999 Delmarva Shorebirds! Werth who was recently inducted in the Shorebirds Walk of Fame, had eight home runs and 53 runs batted in while playing in 120 games for the Shorebirds!
The former first round pick of the Orioles, has played for Blue Jays, Dodgers and Phillies.
