Offensive Players of the Week

International League
Brent Clevlen, Toledo
.533 (8-15), 3 R, 2 2B, 0 3B, 3 HR, 7 RBI, 1 BB, 4 SO, 0 SB, 1.267 SLG
Clevlen only got to play in four games this week because of the Triple-A All-Star Game, but he made all of them count. The Austin, Texas, native smashed two home runs and drove in three in the first game back against Richmond. On Saturday, he added three more hits against Charlotte, including a double and another round-tripper. The Detroit Tigers' prospect accumulated an unreal 1.267 slugging percentage, and by going 8-for-15 on the week, Clevlen saw his average jump from .219 to .248.

Pacific Coast League
Delwyn Young, Las Vegas
.533 (8-15), 6 R, 2 2B, 0 3B, 3 HR, 7 RBI, 2 BB, 3 SO, 0 SB, 1.267 SLG
Young earned POW honors in large part because of a three-game tear that included three home runs and seven RBIs. The Los Angeles native saved his best game for last, going 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs to help the 51s sneak by Salt Lake City, 6-5, in the series finale. After a stellar 8-for-15 week, Young's average climbed up to .345, good enough for second-best in the PCL.

Eastern League
Chris Gimenez, Akron
.474 (9-19), 9 R, 3 2B, 0 3B, 3 HR, 5 RBI, 2 BB, 5 SO, 0 SB, 1.105 SLG
Gimenez picked up right where he left off after getting promoted from Class A Kinston to Double-A Akron on June 29. The Gilroy, Calif., native had three multi-hit games last week, including a 3-for-4 night with two doubles, three runs scored and an RBI against Altoona on July 12. Two of his three home runs also came against the Curve, as he hit a solo shot in the fifth inning Saturday and followed that up with a two-run blast in the eighth on Sunday.

Southern League
Adam Heether, Huntsville
.667 (10-15), 7 R, 3 2B, 0 3B, 2 HR, 6 RBI, 5 BB, 0 SO, 0 SB, 1.267 SLG
Heether had a week to remember, and unfortunately for the Chattanooga pitchers, most of his damage was inflicted upon them. The Stars swept a five-game series against the Lookouts, mainly because of the way their third baseman kept crushing the ball. Heether went 3-for-3 in the first game of the series, smacking a double and a home run to drive in four runs. Four days later it was much of the same, as the 25-year-old went 3-for-4 with another double and a run scored to help the Stars complete the sweep.

Texas League
Mark Hamilton, Springfield
.458 (11-24), 5 R, 3 2B, 0 3B, 1 HR, 7 RBI, 3 BB, 6 SO, 0 SB, .708 SLG
Hamilton has had a smooth transition from the Florida State League to the Texas League. In 23 games played with the Cardinals, the Baltimore native has looked right at home. This week he helped his team go 4-2 by going 11-for-24 with five runs scored, three doubles, a home run, seven RBIs and an impressive .708 slugging percentage. The 22-year-old posted back-to-back 3-for-5 games in wins against Wichita, driving in five runs to help lead his team.

California League
Colt Morton, Lake Elsinore
.563 (9-16), 5 R, 7 2B, 0 3B, 3 HR, 8 RBI, 4 BB, 2 SO, 0 SB, 1.500 SLG
Morton spent four months rehabbing a surgically repaired shoulder, but he doesn't appear to have any side effects since joining the Storm on July 7. The 25-year-old has hit safely in every game he has played in with the team, but no game was more impressive than his performance on July 14. The former North Carolina State star blasted two-run shots in the first and second innings against High Desert, then sandwiched a double in the sixth before hitting his third home run of the night in the ninth.

Carolina League
Jamie Romak, Lynchburg
.533 (8-15), 7 R, 0 2B, 0 3B, 2 HR, 6 RBI, 3 BB, 4 SO, 1 SB, .933 SLG
Romak's impressive numbers last week, which included eight hits, seven runs scored, two home runs and six RBIs, all came during a four-game sweep over Northern Division rival Frederick. The 21-year-old outfielder posted consecutive 3-for-4 nights in the last two games of the series, hitting two home runs, scoring four times and driving in five runs during that span.

Florida State League
Aaron Sisk, Vero Beach
.357 (10-28), 8 R, 2 2B, 0 3B, 6 HR, 11 RBI, 0 BB, 5 SO, 0 SB, 1.071 SLG
At 5-18, Vero Beach's second half of the season may be heading south, but Sisk has remained a steady force for the Devil Rays all year long. The 28-year-old shortstop hit six of his 11 home runs last week, including a pair of two-blasts games. Sisk hit a solo shot in the seventh and a three-run homer in the eighth to propel Vero Beach to a 6-5 win over Dunedin on July 12, the team's only win in its last seven games.

Midwest League
Sam Carter, Fort Wayne
.533 (8-15), 6 R, 1 2B, 0 3B, 4 HR, 7 RBI, 3 BB, 4 SO, 0 SB, 1.400 SLG
The 1.400 slugging percentage Carter posted last week may cause you to do a double take, but after looking at his numbers, you'll see there's been no mistake. The 24-year-old outfielder had multi-hit performances in every game he played last week, including home runs in each. Though his team lost, Friday the 13th proved to be anything but unlucky for Carter, as he went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run and three RBIs against Cedar Rapids.

South Atlantic League
Jonathan Still, Greenville
.556 (10-18), 8 R, 4 2B, 0 3B, 1 HR, 4 RBI, 8 BB, 5 SO, 0 SB, .944 SLG
Still hasn't let his team's current nine-game losing streak deter him from playing like a winner. Still, who ranks fourth in the Sally league in on-base percentage (.420) and slugging percentage (.557),f continued to make big plays, going 10-for-18 and drawing eight walks to help garnish a .944 SLG last week. The Jackson, Miss., native had several impressive performances, including a 3-for-4 night with a double, a run scored and an RBI against Kannapolis on July 12.

New York-Penn League
Ryan Kalish, Lowell
.800 (12-15), 6 R, 3 2B, 1 3B, 2 HR, 5 RBI, 4 BB, 1 SO, 4 SB, 1.533 SLG
The season is still young, but Kalish is already developing into one of the best prospects in the New-York Penn League. The 19-year-old seems to have hitting down to a science, as he posted four-straight three-hit games (including two home runs) last week for a chart-topping 1.533 slugging percentage. Kalish, who is among the league leaders in almost every offensive category, proved just how dangerous he can be once he gets on base, snagging four of his league-leading 18 stolen bases in his last two games.

Northwest League
Edward Easley, Yakima
.353 (6-17), 5 R, 0 2B, 0 3B, 3 HR, 6 RBI, 0 BB, 2 SO, 0 SB, .882 SLG
Easley recorded his first professional home run on July 11, and he liked the feeling so much that he did it two more times that week, giving him three in his young career. The former Mississippi State catcher hit safely in all four games he played last week, helping boost his average to .337 through his first nine games. Easley's home run helped the Bears beat Spokane, 10-8, on Saturday, snapping Yakima's four-game losing streak.

Appalachian League
Estarling De Los Santos, Elizabethton
.433 (13-30), 14 R, 5 2B, 1 3B, 0 HR, 4 RBI, 2 BB, 4 SO, 4 SB, .667 SLG
With all the recent talk about Deibinson Romero's 10-RBI game, it was hard for any player in the Appy League, let alone Romero's teammates, to garner much national attention. But De Los Santos didn't need to speak up to get his kudos; his numbers spoke for themselves. The Twins are off to a blistering 19-5 start in large part because of the switch-hitting De Los Santos, whose 13-for-30 week bolstered his impressive .340 average. The Dominican Republic native went 2-for-5 with two doubles and two RBIs in a 15-1 win against Princeton on July ll.

Pioneer League
Andrew Romine, Orem
.560 (14-25), 7 R, 0 2B, 3 3B, 2 HR, 13 RBI, 1 BB, 1 SO, 0 SB, 1.040 SLG
The former Arizona State standout hit safely in all six games he played last week, including four multi-hit performances. Romine also hit two home runs and drove in 13 batters en route to an impressive 1.040 slugging percentage. He was as perfect as you can get against Billings on Thursday, reaching base on all five of his plate appearances with two singles, a pair of triples, a walk and three RBIs.
