Brandon Wood homered, doubled and drove in five runs to help Colorado Springs outslug Sacramento, 12-4, in the first game of a doubleheader. Tommy Field contributed three RBIs and Jimmy Cesario scored three times for the Sky Sox. A's No. 6 prospect Grant Green was 3-for-5 with a double and a run scored for the River Cats.

D-backs top prospect Trevor Bauer tied a career high with 11 strikeouts over seven innings as Reno blanked Tucson, 4-0. Jake Elmore extended his hitting streak to 18 games and drove in two runs for the Aces, while Anthony Contreras' double was the Padres' only extra-base hit.

Mariners No. 12 prospect Erasmo Ramirez pitched 7 2/3 hitless innings before giving up two runs in the eighth of Tacoma's 2-0 loss to Salt Lake. Drew Heid produced the game's offense with his first Triple-A homer and Bees starter David Pauley limited the Rainiers to one hit over six innings.

A's No. 18 prospect Stephen Parker drove in four runs as Sacramento pulled away for an 11-2 win over Colorado Springs and a split of their twinbill. Manny Ramirez chipped in two hits and two RBIs for the River Cats, while Matt McBride doubled home one run and scored the other for the Sky Sox.

Rehabbing Royals catcher Salvador Perez went 5-for-5 with an RBI and four runs scored to lead a 21-hit attack as Omaha pounded visiting Round Rock, 11-5. Irving Falu chipped in three hits and four RBIs, while Tony Abreu was 3-for-5 and scored twice for the Storm Chasers. Julio Borbon, Rangers No. 4 prospect Leonys Martin and Tommy Mendonca homered for the Express.

Alex Sanabia gave up a run on five hits over seven innings to halt a personal four-game losing streak as New Orleans shut down Oklahoma City, 6-1. Gaby Sanchez was 4-for-4 with a homer and four RBIs for the Zephyrs, while Scott Moore had two hits and drove in the RedHawks' only run.

Ty Wright delivered a walk-off single in the seventh inning as Iowa edged Nashville, 5-4, in the first game of a doubleheader. Cubs top prospect Anthony Rizzo hit his PCL-leading 18th homer for the winners, while Logan Schafer went 3-for-3 with a pair of RBIs for the Sounds.

Donovan Hand combined with two relievers on a four-hitter and Nashville salvaged a split of its doubleheader by blanking Iowa, 6-0. Logan Schafer had two more hits and drove in a run for the Sounds, while Cubs No. 2 prospect Brett Jackson was 2-for-3 with a double in a losing cause.

Fernando Nieve allowed four hits over seven innings as Albuquerque blanked visiting Memphis, 12-0. Aaron Miles slugged a three-run homer and fell a triple shy of the cycle, while Scott Van Slyke and Jerry Sands also went yard for the Isotopes. Cedric Hunter and Bryan Anderson had two hits apiece for the Redbirds.

Pablo Sandoval slugged a pair of solo homers in a rehab appearance, powering Fresno to a 5-4 win over visiting Las Vegas. Brock Bond singled in the go-ahead run in the eighth inning for the Grizzlies, while Jonathan Diaz had two hits and an RBI for the 51s.

Dylan Axelrod gave up a run on six hits over seven innings to end a personal two-game slide as Charlotte edged Toledo, 3-2. Hector Gimenez homered, doubled and scored twice for the Knights, while Tigers No. 16 prospect Adam Wilk struck out nine and pitched his second complete game of the season for the Mud Hens.

Corey Brown hit a grand slam, his eighth homer in 13 games, to power Syracuse to a 7-3 victory over visiting Louisville. Carlos Rivero and starting pitcher Mitch Atkins also went deep for the Chiefs, while Dioner Navarro had two hits, including a two-run homer, for the Bats.

Ezequiel Carrera, Cord Phelps and Jared Goedert homered as Columbus pulled away for a 9-1 romp over visiting Buffalo. Chris Seddon recorded his IL-leading seventh win after allowing a run on six hits over 7 2/3 innings. Mets No. 2 prospect Matt Harvey had his five-game winning streak snapped, surrendering three runs on seven hits over four-plus innings for the Bisons.

Erik Kratz had two hits and drove in three runs as Lehigh Valley held on for a 6-5 triumph over Gwinnett. Kevin Frandsen went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBIs for the IronPigs, while Josh Wilson homered and drove in two runs for the Braves.

Pirates No. 3 prospect Starling Marte delivered a two-run single in the 13th inning as Indianapolis outlasted Pawtucket, 8-6. Yamaico Navarro had three hits, including a solo homer, against his former team for the Indians. Mauro Gomez clubbed a three-run shot and Che-Hsuan Lin collected three hits, including a pair of extra-inning triples, for the PawSox.

Sean Burroughs went 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles, an RBI and a run scored to lead Rochester past visiting Norfolk, 9-6. Rene Rivera doubled, singled, walked twice and drove in three runs for the Red Wings. Nate McLouth hit a three-run homer and scored twice in his debut for the Tides.

Yankees No. 10 prospect Adam Warren allowed three hits over seven shutout innings to outduel Rays No. 2 prospect Chris Archer as Scranton/Wilkes-Barre beat Durham, 3-1. Russell Branyan slugged his fourth homer in as many games for the Yankees, while Shawn O'Malley scored the Bulls' lone run. Archer struck out nine over six innings but was charged with three runs on six hits and five walks.
