Odorizzi improves to 7-1; Bulls' Beckham scores three times

Astros No. 4 prospect Matt Dominguez homered, doubled and drove in a career-high six runs to lead a 16-hit attack in Oklahoma City's 15-9 victory over visiting Iowa. Brett Wallace chipped in two hits and four RBIs for the RedHawks, who got solo shots from Jimmy Paredes and Brad Snyder. Cubs No. 2 prospect Brett Jackson smacked his 14th homer in a losing effort.

Royals No. 4 prospect Jake Odorizzi allowed three runs -- two earned -- on four hits over 5 2/3 innings to improve to 7-1 at Triple-A as Omaha edged New Orleans, 5-4. Johnny Giavotella drove in three runs for the Storm Chasers, while Donnie Murphy slugged a pair of solo homers for the Zephyrs.

Elio Sarmiento capped a three-run 11th inning with a walk-off single, giving Round Rock a 5-4 triumph over Albuquerque. Julio Borbon and Brad Nelson each had three hits and scored a run for the Express, while Dodgers Nos. 11 and 12 prospects Alex Castellanos and Tim Federowicz homered for the Isotopes.

Seth McClung gave up one run on five hits over five innings before Nashville pulled out a 4-1 victory over visiting Memphis. Rehabbing Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy went 3-for-4 with an RBI and three runs scored for the Sounds, while Mark Hamilton had two hits and drove in the Redbirds' only run.

Angels No. 12 prospect Kole Calhoun went 3-for-4, fell a triple shy of the cycle and scored three times, leading Salt Lake to a 17-7 romp over visiting Sacramento. Angels No. 17 prospect Luis Jimenez contributed four hits, two RBIs and a pair of runs scored for the Bees, who tallied 10 times in the second inning. Daric Barton and Adam Rosales drove in three runs apiece for the River Cats.

D-backs No. 3 prospect Tyler Skaggs allowed three runs -- one earned -- on six hits over 5 2/3 innings for his third win in four PCL decisions as Reno topped Colorado Springs, 6-4. Cole Gillespie led the Aces offensively, going 3-for-4 with a homer, two doubles and four RBIs. Tommy Field had three hits and scored a run for the Sky Sox.

Joel Galarraga had three hits and two RBIs out of the ninth spot in the lineup, leading Las Vegas to a 4-3 win at Fresno. Ricardo Nanita also contributed three hits, including a solo homer, for the 51s. Brett Pill was 2-for-4 with a two-run blast for the Grizzlies.

Jorge Reyes struck out five over six solid innings as Tucson held on for a 4-3 triumph at Tacoma. Anthony Contreras had two hits, an RBI and a run scored for the Padres, while Mariners No. 3 prospect Nick Franklin delivered a two-run single for the Rainiers.

Rays No. 5 prospect Tim Beckham was 3-for-4 with three runs scored as Durham chased Julio Teheran in the fourth inning and outslugged Gwinnett, 10-8. Will Rhymes and Cole Figueroa each had three RBIs for the Bulls, while Stefan Gartrell went 3-for-5 and drove in three runs for the Braves.

Reds No. 4 prospect Didi Gregorius went 2-for-3 with a solo homer and two runs scored, leading Louisville past visiting Buffalo, 4-1. Felix Perez added three hits and an RBI for the Bats, while Lucas May doubled, singled and scored a run for the Bisons.

B.J. Rosenberg struck out nine over five shutout innings as Lehigh Valley defeated visiting Norfolk, 4-1. Pete Orr delivered an RBI single for the IronPigs, while Tides starter Jason Berken registered his first complete game since the 2008 season.

Pirates No. 9 prospect Justin Wilson tossed five scoreless innings to win his fourth straight decision as Indianapolis shut down Pawtucket, 3-1. Matt Hague went 3-for-4 with a run scored and Bucs No. 3 prospect Starling Marte added two hits for the Indians. Red Sox No. 3 prospect Ryan Lavarnway had three hits and scored a run in a losing cause.

Tanner Roark struck out nine and yielded a run on four hits over seven innings in Syracuse's 6-1 victory at Rochester. Brett Carroll ripped a three-run homer off the bench for the Chiefs, while Brian Dinkelman homered and doubled for the Red Wings.

Ezequiel Carrara homered, singled and drove in three runs to lead Columbus past visiting Toledo, 7-4. Jared Goedert chipped in two hits, an RBI and a run scored for the Clippers, while Ben Guez went 3-for-4 and hit one of the Mud Hens' four solo homers.

Justin Thomas gave up one hit over four shutout innings but did not figure in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre's 6-4 road win over Charlotte. Jack Cust and Francisco Cervelli drove in two runs apiece for the Yankees, who got two doubles, two walks and a run scored from Corban Joseph. Drew Garcia was 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Knights.
