The spirit of Modesto baseball is alive and well! In Mexican culture an "Alebrije" is a mythical creature that guides spirits safely from this life to the next. Alebrijes can take on the form of one or multiple creatures. Los Alebrijes de Modesto have taken on three forms that embody our community. The coyote, which is common throughout the Central Valley, is a smart, adaptable canine. It is a natural survivor that thrives under pressure, not dissimilar from how Los Alebrijes de Modesto thrive on the baseball diamond. The moose, not common in the Central Valley, but instead a representation from the Pacific Northwest part of the United States. The Moose antlers represent the home of our parent club, the Seattle Mariners. The Mariners have taken great pride in immersing themselves into our community through countless player appearances and annual charity functions. Lastly, the Mighty Eagle, which was derived directly from La Bandera Mexicana, the heritage of nearly 50% of our population. The Mexican Flag features an Eagle's wings and talon. The Eagle is a symbol of great pride and respect in Mexican culture. Los Alebrijes de Modesto are here to allow safe passage into a new generation of baseball. ¡¡Viva Beisbol aqui en Modesto!!

El espiritu de beisbol en Modesto esta vivo y fuerte! En la cultura mexicana un "Alebrije" es una criatura que lleva los espíritus a un pasaje seguro de esta vida a la siguiente. Aunque pueden parecer muchas criaturas diferentes; Los Alebrijes de Modesto nacieron de diferentes aspectos de nuestra comunidad. La criatura central, el coyote, se ve comúnmente en todo el Valle Central, es inteligente, y una mascota adaptible. Es un sobreviviente natural que prospera bajo persión, no tan diferente de cómo Los Alebrijes de Modesto prosperan en el diamante de béisbol. Las cuernas de el alce fueron representadas por los Marineros de Seattle (nuestro club afiliado), quienes se enorgullecen de sumergirse en diferentes comunidades. Finalmente, el águila poderosa, que se deriva directamente de La Bandera Mexicana, el patrimonio de casi 50% de nuestra población. El águila es un símbolo de gran orgullo y respeto en la cultura mexicana. Los Alebrijes de Modesto están aqui para permitir el paso seguro a una nueva generación de béisbol. ¡¡Viva béisbol aqui en modesto!!
