Rhode Island native Thomas Pannone picked up his first win in the Blue Jays organization in the Fisher Cats 11-5 win over Hartford on Thursday night at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.
Pannone (7-2) allowed one run in 5.2 innings, allowing five hits, walking two and striking out three. He allowed a first inning RBI single by Brian Mundell, but did not allow a run before leaving in the sixth.
The Fisher Cats (49-73), in earning a series win, scored nine unanswered runs, taking a 9-1 lead into the eighth inning. In the bottom of the second, Harold Ramirez reached on an error and Richard Ureña doubled. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. singled in Ramirez and Urena came across on a sacrifice fly by Gunnar Heidt.

New Hampshire scored two more runs in the fifth inning. Heidt doubled, advancing to third on a passed ball and scoring on a wild pitch. Jonathan Davis singled, scoring on a single by Anthony Alford to make it 4-1.
The Fisher Cats put the game out of reach with another pair of runs in the sixth. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. reached on a hit by pitch, and Emilio Guerrero hit a rocket over the left fielder's head to bring him home with a double. Heidt then hit a slow chopper to third, which Juan Ciriaco threw away past first base. The infield single and error scored Guerrero to make it 6-1.
New Hampshire kept coming in the seventh inning. A walk, a single and a hit batter loaded the bases, and Gurriel plated two with a single to center. Guerrero knocked in another with a base hit, and the Fisher Cats had a 9-1 lead.
Correlle Prime hit a grand slam in the top of the eighth to bring Hartford back within 9-5, but Ramirez broke the game back open to 11-5 with a two-run single in the bottom half. Nick Additon (0-1) took the loss for the Yard Goats (56-66).
