After drawing a walk in the third, the Braves' top prospect set up his team's second run by reaching on a bunt single and stealing second before Lane Adams delivered an RBI single. Albies walked again in the seventh, then ripped a run-scoring single to left in the ninth for his season-high third hit of the game.
"Albies kind of wrecked us today," Wright told The Virginian-Pilot. "He was hitting some really good pitches, taking some really good pitches. Hats off to him because I felt really good, especially with my at-bats towards him."
Albies has begun to heat up in nearly every facet of the game over the last week. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound infielder is 8-for-19 during a five-game hitting streak that's bumped his average up to .268. He's stolen a base in four straight contests to take the International League lead with 13 and cracked his third extra-base hit in three days on Tuesday after accumulating two in a 14-game stretch from April 28-May 12.
"He's going to be a really good player," Tides manager Ron Johnson told the newspaper. "You look at him, and his playing ability doesn't fit his body. He's got a great big old bat up there and he's got power. I like him because he's trying to hit the ball out of the ballpark."

Wright (2-4) was charged with two runs on five hits and four walks over seven frames, striking out six.
