Tournament begins at Werner Park with 4 matchups on May 13

The NSAA Class A Baseball Championship Tournament returns to Werner Park this year, with the seeding and matchups officially released. All eight qualifying teams will take the field on Saturday, May 13 as part of a four-game slate to kick off the tournament.

10:00 a.m. - #1 Lincoln Southeast (16-6) vs. #8 Archbishop Bergan (10-10)
1:00 p.m. - #4 Creighton Prep (19-11) vs. #5 Lincoln Southwest (19-9)
4:00 p.m. - #3 Millard West (21-8) vs. #6 Westside (19-13)
7:00 p.m. - #2 Millard South (25-4) vs. #7 Millard North (16-12)

Tickets for the NSAA Class A High School Baseball Tournament are general admission and are good for every game of the day purchased. Adult admission is priced at $7.00 and $5.00 for children. Tickets must be purchased in-person at the Werner Park Ticket Office.
The tournament is a double elimination format, with a majority of the Winner's Bracket contests to be played at Werner Park. Loser's Bracket rounds will take place at Fricke Field. Winners from each of the four matchups on May 13 advance to the second round at Werner Park on Monday, May 15, with the victors of the 1-8 and 4-5 matchups to face off at 4:00 p.m. Winners of the 2-7 and 3-6 matchups, meanwhile, will square off at 7:00 p.m.
The two Second Round victors will then face off at Fricke Field on Tuesday, May 16 at 7:00 p.m., with the Class A Baseball Tournament Championship Game then scheduled to be at Werner Park on Thursday, May 18 at 10:00 a.m. The second Championship Game, if necessary, will be played on the same day at Fricke Field at 2:00 p.m.
