NSAA Class A State Baseball Championships

Werner Park will once again play host to the NSAA Class A State Baseball Championship from May 12-17, with up to 13 games scheduled to be played at the ballpark in that span.

Five Omaha Metro schools are among the eight teams set to compete, including top-seeded Creighton Prep, as well as Millard South (#2), Milliard West (#3), Omaha Burke (#4) and Elkhorn South (#6). The other three schools in the bracket are Lincoln Southwest (#5), Grand Island (#7) and Lincoln Southeast (#8).
The tournament is a double elmination format, with all Winner's Bracket contests to be played at Werner Park. Winners from each of the four matchups on May 12 advance to the second round at Werner Park on Monday, May 14, with the winners of the 1-8 and 4-5 matchups to face off at 4:00pm. Winners of the 2-7 and 3-6 matchups, meanwhile, will square off at 7:00pm.
Second round matchups in the Loser's Bracket on Tuesday, May 15 will be played at Fricke Field. All other games are scheduled to be played at Werner Park.
The Class A Tournament Championship Game will be played on Thursday, May 17 at 10:00am at Werner Park. The second Championship Game, if necessary, would be played on the same day immediately following the conclusion of the first Championship game.

TICKET INFORMATION
Tickets for the NSAA Class A High School Baseball Championship tournament are general admission and good for every game of the day purchased.
Adult admission is priced at $7.00 and $5.00 for students. Tickets can be purchased in-person at the Werner Park Ticket Office or by calling (402) 738-5100.
Tickets for children at the discounted $5.00 price must be purchased at Werner Park in advance or on any day of the tournament.
