Redbirds welcome Stripers, Tides in action-packed homestand

A nine-game featuring giveaways and theme nights starts July 22

The homestand starts with a Christmas in July celebration, a special appearance from Black Panther, and three giveaways including a Memphis Blues t-shirt giveaway!

Friday, July 22 – Redbirds vs Stripers – 7:05 PM CDT

  • Christmas in July: Celebrate your sunny Christmas at AutoZone Park with a special appearance from Santa Claus and the Grinch! The first 1,000 fans will receive a Redbirds-themed ugly Christmas t-shirt.
  • Specialty food and drink items include a Christmas Cake that is a red funnel cake with white powdered sugar and green sprinkles and a Grinch-A-Rita that can be served frozen or on the rocks!
  • All-You-Can-Eat pasta specialty ticket including baked ziti, meatballs and marinara, baked penne Alfredo with grilled chicken, garlic bread sticks, hot dogs, chips, soda & water.
  • The Matchup Menu: For each homestand, the Redbirds will feature a specialty sandwich and drink related to the road team’s city and will be available all weekend long at The Rivalry Roadhouse Tent in right field. This homestand features:
  • The “Panther Paw" black wings
  • The “Black Panther Lemonade", a black vodka lemonade

Saturday, July 23 – Redbirds vs Stripers – 6:35 PM CDT

  • Marvel Super Hero Night featuring a special appearance from Black Panther. The Redbirds will wear special Black Panther jerseys available for auction after the game. Come dressed as your favorite Marvel character!
  • Terminix Fireworks Show following the game!

Sunday, July 24 – Redbirds vs Stripers – 2:05 PM

  • Prairie Farms Ice Cream Sunday, where all kids 12-and-under in attendance will receive a free ice cream sandwich, courtesy of Prairie Farms. Kids will also get a chance to run the bases after the game!

Tuesday, July 26 – Redbirds vs Tides – 7:05 PM CDT

  • Nacho Average Tuesday®: The fan favorite is back at AutoZone Park this week! All fans will get a free order of ballpark nachos presented by the Downtown Memphis Commission.
  • International Paper Home Run for Literacy Night: our home run partner, International Paper, will present a check for $25,000 to Literacy Mid-South along with the Memphis Redbirds!

Wednesday, July 27 – Redbirds vs Tides – 7:05 PM CDT

  • Gates open at 6:00PM!

Thursday, July 28 – Redbirds vs Tides – 7:05 PM CDT

  • Throwback Thursdays, presented by Pabst Blue Ribbon. Get $2 PBR beers and $1 hot dogs this and every Thursday at AutoZone Park. The team will also take the field as the Memphis Chicks.
  • Field box tickets are $10.

Friday, July 29 – Redbirds vs Tides – 7:05 PM CDT

  • The first 1,000 fans will receive a Memphis Blues t-shirt giveaway, presented by DeSoto Honda Powerhouse. The Redbirds will play as the Memphis Blues and sport specialty jerseys that honor the Blues franchise that played from 1968-1976 at Tim McCarver Stadium.
  • Miss Tennessee Lauren Dickson will be throwing out the first pitch and singing the national anthem!
  • All-You-Can-Eat Soft tacos specialty ticket including fixings (lettuce, tomato, shredded cheese, salsa), hot dogs, chips, soda, & water.
  • The Matchup Menu: For each homestand, the Redbirds will feature a specialty sandwich and drink related to the road team’s city and will be available on Fridays and Saturdays at The Rivalry Roadhouse Tent in right field. This homestand features:
  • The “Blue Tide", a blue water margarita
  • Fan favorite wings!

Saturday, July 30 – Redbirds vs Tides – 6:35 PM CDT

  • Terminix Fireworks Show following the game!
  • The Hartford and the Memphis Redbirds are teaming up to celebrate 75 years of fire safety education through Junior Fire Marshal Night presented by The Hartford. The first 1,500 children 12-and-under will receive a free Junior Fire Marshal helmet. Prior to first pitch, a select group of children will join members of the Memphis Fire Department on-field to take the fire safety pledge and become deputized as official Junior Fire Marshals.

Sunday, July 31 – Redbirds vs Tides – 2:05 PM CDT

  • Prairie Farms Ice Cream Sunday, where all kids 12-and-under in attendance will receive a free ice cream sandwich, courtesy of Prairie Farms. Kids will also get a chance to run the bases after the game!
