GREENSBORO- The Asheville Tourists’ lone left-handed pitcher, Trey Dombroski, has turned his 2024 season into high gear. GREENSBORO- The Asheville Tourists snapped their six-game losing skid on Wednesday evening with an impressive 5-1 win over the Greensboro Grasshoppers. Nic Swanson matched a season-high with six innings pitched while Anthony Sherwin and Cam Fisher each belted a Home Run for the Tourists.

ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists dropped Saturday night’s game to the Aberdeen IronBirds by a final score of 5-1. Aberdeen kept Asheville’s offense relatively quiet on a night where neither team did much at the plate.

ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Hippies battled the Aberdeen IronBirds on Thursday night but ultimately fell by one run, 3-2. The Hippies received excellent pitching and made a ton of defensive plays yet were unable to overcome an early 3-0 deficit.

GREENVILLE- The Asheville Tourists won their third straight road game on Friday night thanks to an outstanding performance from their pitching staff. Jose Guedez spearheaded the Tourists effort from the mound in their 3-1 victory over the Greenville Drive.

ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists dropped a tight game to the Greenville Drive 4-2 on Wednesday night. Asheville received phenomenal pitching from Trey Dombroski, Kelly Austin, Ian Foggo, and Brody Rodning; however, a late controversial decision hurt Asheville’s chances at winning the game.

BOWLING GREEN- The Asheville Tourists defeated the Bowling Green Hot Rods 5-2 on Saturday night in a solid bounce back performance. Asheville’s Manager, Nate Shaver, earned his 200th win as Tourists Manager as the T’s moved back into a tie for first place in the South Atlantic League Southern division

BOWLING GREEN- The Asheville Tourists and the Bowling Green Hot Rods split a double-header on Thursday night. Bowling Green took Game One 9-1 before Asheville responded in Game Two with a 4-1 victory.

ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists put on a pitching display Friday night and defeated the Greensboro Grasshoppers 3-2 in front of a McCormick Field sellout crowd. Nic Swanson threw a six-inning gem and the bullpen combination of Kelly Austin and Layne Henderson closed out the contest.

ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists did not begin their seven-game homestand the way they had hoped. Asheville dropped the Education Day afternoon contest to the Rome Emperors by a final score of 11-1. It is the first time this season the Tourists have lost a game by double-digits.

WINSTON-SALEM- The Asheville Tourists used a four-hit night from Luis Baez and excellent pitching to defeat the Winston-Salem Dash 6-4 on Saturday night. The victory snapped a three-game skid and keeps a road series split in play.
