GREENSBORO- The Asheville Tourists snapped a three-game skid with an impressive 6-1 victory over the Greensboro Grasshoppers on Tuesday night. The Tourists pitching trio of Derek True, Franny Cobos, and Railin Perez held Greensboro to only one run on four hits.
Langford Strong in his First Tourists Start
ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists dropped a tough contest to the Bowling Green Hot Rods on Saturday night by a final of 4-1. Asheville held Bowling Green’s offense to only two hits in the game; however, the Hot Rods plated a couple unearned runs and held the Tourists bats in check.

GREENVILLE- The Asheville Tourists dropped their second straight to the Greenville Drive on Friday night, 13-4. Greenville’s offense, led by Cutter Coffey, took control after the Tourists struck early. Coffey finished the game with two Home Runs and seven RBI.
Pitching Staff Strikes Out Season-High 17 in 11-6 Loss
ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists fell to the Greensboro Grasshoppers 11-6 in the series opener Tuesday night. Asheville kept the pressure on throughout the game despite falling into an early hole. In the end, the Grasshoppers made enough plays to win the game.

HICKORY- The Asheville Tourists continued their fighting mentality Friday night against the Hickory Crawdads. Asheville erased a deficit in the final inning of Game One and came away with a 5-2 victory. The Tourists nearly did it again in Game Two, but came up inches short and fell 4-3.
Tourists and Emperors Split Twin Bill
ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists and the Rome Emperors each picked up a win on Thursday night with a double-header split. Rome won the first game 6-1 and Asheville owned the second game with a 12-1 final score. The series is knotted up at two games apiece.
Williams Walks Tourists Off in the Ninth
ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists defeated the Rome Emperors 4-3 in walk off fashion Wednesday evening. Trailing 3-1, Jeron Williams cleared the bases in the bottom of the ninth with a two-run single combined with an Emperors throwing error. The three-run sequence sent McCormick Field into a frenzy.
