Four Columbus pitchers combined on a four-hit shutout to lift the Clippers to a 4-0 win over Norfolk Thursday afternoon.

Former Tide Asher Wojciechowski (2-0) combined with three relievers on the gem to help pitch the Clippers to a three-game series sweep. It was the fourth shutout loss of the season for the Tides, who have now dropped eight consecutive road contests.
Norfolk starter Yefry Ramírez (1-1) entered the contest having not surrendered a run over his first three starts of the year, but Oscar Mercado got the Clippers on the board quickly with a leadoff homer in the first. Ramirez settled in and struck out a season-high nine batters over four innings of work, but he allowed four runs on five hits while needing 89 pitches to navigate his outing.
Jack Reinheimer had two hits to lead Norfolk's offense, while Cedric Mullins and Ryan Mountcastle each added a single in the setback.
Norfolk's bullpen of Sean Gilmartin and Branden Kline combined to strike out five over four shutout innings out of the bullpen.
The Tides will continue their nine-game, three-city road trip on Friday night in Louisville, with first pitch from Slugger Field set for 7:00. University of Louisville product Josh Rogers (1-1, 6.00) gets the start for Norfolk and will be opposed by right-hander Lucas Sims (1-0, 3.15).
