Exciting eight game Cardinals homestand starts on Thursday

The Palm Beach Cardinals return for an exciting eight game homestand against the Lakeland Flying Tigers and the Tampa Tarpons.
It's Harry Potter night on Thursday, the homestand opener. There will be a special costume contest, activities and a pre-game golden snitch hunt. It's also a "Let's have a Party Thursday" which features $1 draft beer and soda refills and $2 craft beer refills with the purchase of a Tire Kingdom red solo cup. Lastly, bring your canine companion to the game for out "Dog Days of Summer!" Game time is set for 6:30 PM
On Friday night we'll be honoring Martin County North Little League 11U All-Star Team who were the 2018 Florida State Champions. There will be a pregame ceremony followed by the game. First pitch will be thrown at 6:30 PM.
On Saturday, the first overall pick from the 2018 MLB Draft, Casey Mize, is scheduled to pitch for the opposing Lakeland Tiger. The Auburn product has made two starts in the Florida State League and will be making his first ever appearance at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 5:30 PM.
Fans will be able to get into Saturday's game for free by dropping off donations for the school supply drive at any Palm Beach County Bank of America Financial Center for the Red Apple School Supply Drive sponsored by Bank of America and the education foundation of Palm Beach County. After the game, there will be FIREWORKS presented by Wawa.
The Tampa Tarpons come into town for a four game series beginning on Monday, August 13^th.
Prior to Tuesday's 6:30 PM game, former St. Louis Cardinals player Rick Ankiel will be throwing out the first pitch.
Wednesday, August 15^th is Silver Sluggers night at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium. All of our Silver Sluggers members will be able to participate in baseball bingo and we'll have themed music and activities all night.
Love pizza and baseball? Come out to Pizza-Palooza on Thursday, August 16th! For just $20, you'll receive a game ticket in a suite full of all-you-can-wat pizza from numerous pizza restaurants throughout the Palm Beach and Jupiter area. It's also another "Let's have a part Thursday!" There will be a special first pitch thrown out by former WWE member of the tag-team duo "The headbangers," Thrasher! He'll be signing autographs in the concourse during the game!
