Originally the Missoula Osprey (1999-2019), the team was renamed the Paddleheads in reference to the antlers of male moose. Missoula has had a history of semi-pro baseball since the 1900’s when they had teams known as the Highlanders and the Timberjacks. The team won 4 League Titles (1999, 2006, 2012 and 2015).
As a former Diamondbacks affiliate, famed Missoula alumni include Carlos Gonzalez, Paul Goldschmidt and Adam Eaton.
