At South Carolina, Kerry's fastball topped out at 96 mph while working as a starter and a reliever... he posted a 2.54 ERA across 45 career appearances over three seasons with the Gamecocks... went 5-1 with a 2.15 ERA and four saves while striking out 84 batters in 54 1/3 innings in his final (junior) season at South Carolina in 2021, where he was selected to the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Watch List, NCBWA All-America third team and D1Baseball All-America second team... made a variety of lists and honors in 2019 as a freshman, including D1Baseball Freshman All-American, Perfect Game Freshman All-American, Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American, NCBWA All-Freshman Team and SEC All-Freshman Team... majored in operations and supply chain at South Carolina
