Spent most of the season on the 60-day Injured List after suffering a right back strain early in Major League camp… Was on IL, 4/7-8/31, beginning a rehab assignment in Arizona on July 12 and was transferred to AAA Columbus on Aug. 3, prior to his activation and impressive stint with Cleveland in September…Turned in a 1.69 ERA (4ER/21.1IP) over nine games/six starts with the Clippers...Made his ML debut on Sept. 2 in start vs. Seattle (L, 2.0IP, 4H, 3R/2ER) and went on to make five turns in the rotation, posting a mark of 1-2 with a 2.18 ERA over the five starts (20.2IP, 19H, 5ER, 11BB, 20SO)…Collected his first ML win on Sept. 23 at Texas, a career-high 6.0IP/6SO on Sept. 18 vs. MIN (tied a professional career-high for IP)…Worked in relief his final two outings (3.0IP, 2H, 1R/ER, 3SO) and was on the ALDS roster vs. NYY, tossing 2.0 perfect innings in Game 4 in Cleveland...Morris' 2.18 ERA (5ER/20.2IP) was the lowest for any Clevelander through his first five career starts since Aaron Civale (1.82) in 2019…Batters hit .083 (2/24) with RISP and .154 (6/39) with runners on base.

Posted a breakout season between AA Akron and AAA Columbus in just his second professional season, going a combined 2-2 with a 1.62 ERA in 15 games/14 starts (61.0IP, 41H, 11ER, 20BB, 93SO, .189 AVG)...Averaged 13.72 SO per 9.0 IP for the year and 6.0 hits/9 IP while posting a WHIP of 1.00...Season was delayed to start due to a right shoulder strain suffered in the offseason...Was originally slated to be a part of February's Depth Camp along side the Major League club, but he did not report to Goodyear until April and opened the year on the 7-day Minor League Injured List...Began a rehab with the ACL club on June 28 and was activated at Akron on July 6...Promoted to AAA Columbus on Aug. 3....Did not allow a run over his first 16.0 innings at Akron, covering his first three starts and part of his fourth of the year... Yielded just 3 runs in 20.0 innings in five Double-A starts before being elevated in early August to Columbus, fanning 8 in his Triple-A debut of Aug. 8 vs. Omaha (4.0 IP)...Allowed only 1 run over his first 13.0 innings for the Clippers...Posted a 1.69 ERA in 5 September outings for Columbus (4GS, 21.1IP, 15H, 4ER, 7BB, 34SO)... Season-high for innings was 5.0 (2x) and season-high for pitches was 74...On the year right-handed batters hit .173 (19-for-110) off him....Allowed only 3 homers in 61.0 innings.
