♦ Posted a 3.86 ERA with 13 strikeouts in six starts with Ogden.
♦ Promoted to Class-A Great Lakes on 8/11, where he went 2-0 with a 0.59 ERA and 22 strikeouts in six relief outings for the Loons.
PERSONAL
♦ Acquired by Baltimore in a trade from the Los Angeles Dodgers, along with OF Yusniel DĂaz, IF Rylan Bannon, RHP Zach Pop and IF Breyvic Valera, for IF Manny Machado, 7/18/18.
♦ Selected by the Dodgers in the 14th round of the 2016 draft out of UNLV. Had been drafted by San Diego in the 38th round of the 2015 draft but did not sign.
♦ Became the first Israeli citizen to be chosen in the MLB draft. Pitched for Israel's National Team in the 2017 World Baseball Classic, and was named the Most Valuable Pitcher for Israel in 2014 and 2015 as he helped Israel qualify for the European Baseball Championship. He has dual Israeli-American citizenship, as his parents served in the Israel Defense Force.
♦ Helped San Joaquin Delta (NJCAA) to a 41-7 record and a state runner-up finish in 2015, going 13-1 with a 2.00 ERA in 112.2 innings. Was named a Third Team All-American.
