High School... signed with the Marlins on June 19, 2019 for $1.5 million, which was well over the slot value of $390,000... had committed to pitching at UCLA before the Draft... was ranked by MLB.com as the No. 74 prospect in the 2019 Draft class... was the first Aliso Niguel High School player to be selected within the first 10 rounds of an MLB Draft -- the school had produced seven other draftees before him... debuted with the Marlins' Gulf Coast League affiliate in 2019, appearing in nine games... 2020 season was wiped out by Covid-19 pandemic... split the 2021 season between the GCL Marlins and Jupiter, striking 33 in 30 1/3 innings... moved up to Beloit for 2022 and enjoyed his first full season in the Minors, going 4-7 with a 4.28 ERA and 80 strikeouts in 107 1/3 innings across 22 starts for the Sky Carp... Marlins sent him to Mesa in the Arizona Fall League following the 2022 season.
