Started the season with the Shorebirds, where he posted a 1.05 ERA in 16 appearances out of the bullpen... Held South Atlantic League batters to a .109 average (12-110) with 46 strikeouts in 34.1 innings pitched... Did not allow an earned run in 13 of his 16 appearances with the Shorebirds... Set a career-high with six strikeouts on two occasions: July 9 vs. Hagerstown and July 18 at Augusta...
