The Reading Fightin Phils, Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, are seeking hard-working, goal-oriented and enthusiastic individuals for our 2025 internship program. We are seeking interns for both full-time internships and part-time, game-day roles. Interns will handle day-to-day operational tasks and learn how the organization prepares for the upcoming season. The Internship program will provide a great opportunity for interns looking to immerse themselves in a full-service sports and entertainment venue.
Full Time Internships
Upperclassman and recent college graduates have the opportunity to get directly involved and gain hands on experience in multiple aspects of Minor League Baseball. Interns work directly with the front office staff to get an overview of all of the different positions. Each intern will be a valuable piece of our operation and will work on meaningful tasks that directly contribute to the success of the R-Phils.
2025 full-time internship positions consist of:
- Group and Ticket Sales
- Concessions/Stadium Operations
- Public Relations/Social Media (Filled for 2025)
- Merchandise (Filled for 2025)
- Video Production (Filled for 2025)
- Graphic Design
- Event Planning/Operations at Redner's Event Center
- Community Relations (Filled for 2025)
- Clubhouse Interns
Interns are hired on a rolling basis beginning in December, January and May. Internships can last 3-10 months depending on the department. Full time interns may work approximately 25-40 a week during the offseason and up to 80 hours a week during the season. The winter internship asks employees to be creative and have attention to detail as the team plans for a full season of baseball and entertainment.
Game Day Internships
The Fightin Phils are also seeking interns to work in part-time/game-day roles. These are perfect for high school and college students who's schedules may not be as flexible for full-time internship positions. Game Day interns will have the opportunity to work in and assist with: concessions, stadium operations, Phunland, press box, camera crew/video production and much more.
