ABOUT

"Smoke in the Outfield" is a new premiere barbecue festival in North Alabama, coming to Toyota Field on August 4-5! Two days of festivities include live music, entertainment and activities like mechanical bull rides, yard games, face painters & balloon artists, food and drink specialties, and capped off by 70 teams competing in a two part cook-off sanctioned by the Kansas City BBQ Society. Competitors will be judged on best Chicken, Ribs and the People's Choice Awards, and compete for a Grand Prize of $1,500!

Opening Night Party | Friday August 4th | 5pm - 10pm

Live music from Lamont Landers Band, Food & Beverage Available for Purchase, Mechanical Bull Rides

Cook Off | Saturday August 5th | 10am - 4pm

Gates open at 10am, People's Choice BBQ Tasting starts at 11am, Competition judging begins at 1pm. Live music from Cruze Band, inflatables, games, mechanical bull rides will be available for your enjoyment!

Saturday Sampling Ticket - $40.00 per person [One (1) Drink Ticket (Beer or Fountain Soda) & Access to People's Choice BBQ Competition. Sample 2 oz. portions of People's Choice Submissions and vote on Winner]
