The Toledo Mud Hens aim to create a safe, family, affordable environment where everyone feels welcome and comfortable. In order to create such a place the following regulations have been enacted for Fifth Third Field.

Guests will be asked to return all non-permitted items back to their vehicles.

Bag Policy
  • Guests are permitted bags no larger than 16 x 16 x 8 inches.
  • All bags are subject to security searches for prohibited items (outlines as prohibited items below) at the gates.

Prohibited Items

The following items are PROHIBITED at Fifth Third Field. All items are subject to review and search by stadium personnel prior to entering the ballpark. Additional items not included on this list may be denied at the gates at the discretion of stadium personnel for the safety and experience of all fans visiting Fifth Third Field.

  • Aerosol cans, including but not limited to, mace, pepper spray, hairspray and sunscreen
  • Animals, except documented service animals or dogs on designated dog days
  • Bags or purses larger than 16" x 16" x 8"
  • Beach balls and other inflatables
  • Cans, coolers, glass bottles and all other beverage containers
  • Clothing with profanity, obscenities or any other offensive material deemed inappropriate
  • Hover boards, cycles, or Segways (unless required for mobility purposes)
  • Drones
  • Fireworks and flares
  • Illegal substances
  • Laser devices and pointers
  • Noise makers, horns, or any other type of noise makers which are offensive to guests
  • Outside food and beverages, unless accompanied by a medical disclaimer
  • Signs or clothing offensive or inappropriate in nature
  • Skates, skateboards, and rollerblades
  • Smoking or vaping
  • Weapons/firearms of any kind, including actual, toy, or replica items (i.e., knives, guns, explosives)

CAMERAS/VIDEO CAMERAS: Handheld cameras and video camcorders are permitted inside Fifth Third Field, so long as they do not interfere with the game or other fans' enjoyment of the game.

Gates & Security

  • Gates open one hour prior to the start of the game. Opening the Ballpark is powered by Cenovus Energy.
  • Lucas County Sherriff Deputies and Tenable Staff are located at each gate and throughout the Ballpark to ensure the safety of our guests. Tenable Staff members will check bags upon entrance.
  • The Security Station is located behind home plate near the main entrance.
  • Re-entry to the ballpark is not permitted. In emergencies only, fans can go to Meijer Guest Services to receive a re-entry pass.
