Baseball made fun and simple! Mud Hens youth baseball camps help introduce kids to the game in an exciting and non-competitive environment. Each camp is age-appropriately designed to teach kids, ages 3 to 14, the fundamentals of baseball. These camps are the perfect introduction for first timers looking to learn new skills, make new friends, and grow their love for the game.

Hear From Our Campers

I’m Schyler “Sky,” and I’m 26 years old. I’ve been part of the Field of Dreams camp for many years, and this year felt extra special with all the participation from the Mud Hens players and employees. I really appreciated how everyone included us and made it such a fun experience. Because I’m blind, hearing impaired, and developmentally delayed, it means a lot to me when each team member adapts to my needs and works with me. I love all sports and have been playing in the Miracle League of NW Ohio since it started. Getting extra practice in for my games was a huge bonus for me. The Mud Hens are my absolute favorite team, so spending a whole day at their stadium and interacting with some of the players was the highlight of my year—something I always look forward to. Thank you so much for putting on this camp for people like me. I’m already excited about participating again in the coming years!

My name is Lincoln, and I have been a lifelong fan of baseball—especially the Toledo Mud Hens! Before the Field of Dreams Baseball Camp, I had never played baseball or done any kind of skills training. But at camp, I got to step onto the field with the players, hit the ball at home plate, play catch, and even sit in the dugout. It was an experience I will never forget! The players and coaches were so kind and made me feel truly valued and included. They encouraged me every step of the way, and it meant so much. At the end of camp, they took pictures with us and signed the hats we were given—it was such a special moment. I am beyond grateful for this incredible experience, and I will remember it forever!

“We got to go to baseball camp, and it was so much fun! Our favorite part was playing with real players and coaches—they were so nice and helped us a lot. They told us we were doing a great job, which made us feel really good and super confident. Running on the big field was so cool, and we can’t wait to do it again!”

–Poetter Family

“Mud Hens camp was the best day of my life! I got to meet the players, hit balls, run the bases, and see Muddy! Mud Hens Camp is the best and I can’t wait till next year! Go Hens!”
