Through the game's first five innings, it was all Toledo. Then just like that, the Gwinnett Braves exploded and came back to win 5-3. Steven Moya blasted a pair of solo home runs in the game for the Mud Hens.

The Hens jumped out to a 2-0 lead before the Braves broke into the hitting column and then proceeded to smash 13 hits in the contest.
Toledo struck first in the third inning when Alex Presley singled to start the inning. With one out, J.D. Martinez to put Presley in scoring position and Efren Navarro promptly singled to right to score the first run of the game.
The Hens added to that lead with a two-out solo home run from Steven Moya in the sixth. Going into the bottom of the sixth, Toledo led 2-0.
Gwinnett starter Aaron Blair threw 6.0 innings, giving up two runs, on six hits and struck out five.
Farmer (0-2, 3.46 ERA) cruised through the first five innings, while holding the Braves without a hit until the fifth inning. However, once the sixth hit, so did Gwinnett. David Freitas led off the sixth with a single and Xavier Avery delivered a two-run blast that tied the game at 2-2.
In the seventh, the Braves got to Farmer again. Four straight hits to start the inning scored a pair of runs before he was lifted for reliever Daniel Stumpf. Farmer's final line ended at 6.0 innings pitched, 10 hits, five runs, one walk and seven strikeouts. His 42 strikeouts on the season lead the team.
Stumpf came on with two men on and nobody out in the seventh and after striking out the first two batters he faced, Johan Camargo singled up the middle to plate another run. After seven innings of play, the Braves led 5-2.
The Hens were retired in order in the eighth and brought in Bruce Rondón to face the Braves in the bottom half. He faced trouble right away, allowing two hits to start the inning. He got the next batter to ground into a double play, but then loaded the bases with back-to-back walks. Rondon tight-roped out of danger when he got Avery to line out to center, keeping the deficit at three.
Moya led off the ninth inning with his second home run of the game to cut the lead to two. Argenis Diaz followed with a single and JaCoby Jones reached base with a hit and put the tying run on base. Martinez came to bat with a chance to tie or take the lead. He sent one to the warning track in center field but it was hauled in to end the game.
Presley finished 2-for-5 on the night with a run scored. He has now hit safely in eight of his last 10 contests. Navarro's RBI knock in the fourth gives him a team-high 18 driven in on the season.
The Hens will play the series finale in Gwinnett on Thursday at 10:35 a.m. before heading to Durham this weekend. William Cuevas will toe the slab for Toledo against Sean Newcomb of Gwinnett.
