The Dash are excited to be bringing Sensory Friendly Day to Truist Stadium! During the Dash's game, we will adapt the in-stadium experience to include fewer public address announcements, reduced volume throughout the ballpark, and limited motion graphics on the videoboard. Our mission is to create a welcoming environment to enjoy a Dash game for those with autism and other sensory-related disorders adversely affected by this type of stimulation. The Dash have partnered with local businesses to allow local Challenger League Athletes and their families to attend Sensory Friendly Day for free! The Challenger program is a baseball league dedicates to providing those with special disabilities the opportunity to play baseball. Dash players and coaches will buddy up with local Challenger players to help field, hit and run the bases during a pre-game Challenger League game! Celebrate National Italian Beef Day at Truist Stadium as the team takes the field as the Winston-Salem Italian Beef! After the viral 9 Inning Challenge where Dash Prez, Brian DeAngelis, attempted to eat 9 Italian Beef sandwiches, the Dash decided to bring a little of the Southside to Winston-Salem! The team will play as the Winston-Salem Italian Beef to pay homage to Chicago, the hometown of their affiliate the Chicago White Sox, with this iconic sandwich.
