BUFFALO, NY – The Iowa Cubs (15-12) suffered a 2-0 defeat against the Buffalo Bisons (16-10) on Sunday afternoon as the game was called in the bottom of the fifth inning due to rain.
The I-Cubs and Bisons went scoreless through the first three frames of the contest as they battled rainy conditions. But Buffalo was able to plate a pair of runs in the bottom of the fourth.
As the rain continued to come down, the game was officially called with one out in the bottom of the fifth and a 1-0 count on
