Springfield, MO—Thursday night’s game between the Arkansas Travelers and Springfield Cardinals was suspended in the fourth inning with the Cardinals leading 4-2. Springfield, MO—Thursday night’s game between the Arkansas Travelers and Springfield Cardinals was suspended in the fourth inning with the Cardinals leading 4-2. Steady rain fell throughout a rain delay that lasted around 90 minutes before the suspension was announced. Jared Oliva had put the Travs on top with a two-run double in the second inning before Springfield answered a pair of two-run frames including a home run by RJ Yeager.

The game will be resumed on Friday night at 5:15 and played to a nine inning completion. The regularly scheduled game will then follow about 30 minutes after and be seven innings in length. Both games will be broadcast on 106.7 Buz2, the Bally Live App, milb.tv and mlb.tv.
