North Little Rock, AR—The Arkansas Travelers and San Antonio Missions split a doubleheader on Friday night at Dickey-Stephens Park with the visitors taking the first game, 4-3 and the home squad winning the nightcap, 14-2. The Travs nearly came back from four runs down in game one leaving at least the tying run on base in each of the final three innings. An eight run first inning put Arkansas in command of the second game early and then a pair of three-run frames later piled more on.

* Cole Cummings hit a two-run home run to put San Antonio up four runs in the third inning.

* Arkansas had the tying and go-ahead runs in scoring position with one out in the sixth but failed to score after a foul out and a fly out.

* Harry Ford doubled home a pair of runs in the first to get the Travs rolling.

* Cole Young ended the scoring in the opening inning with a grand slam, his first Double-A home run.

* San Antonio had two players removed from the contest during the third inning of game two including one who was on second base at the time. Those two players and one of their relievers are reportedly going to the Miami Marlins organization in a trade.
