Red-hot Kyle Manzardo stroked his fourth home run of the season in the 1st inning. When Myles Straw singled home Bryan Lavastida in the 7th, the Clippers trailed 5-4.
Things fell apart for the Clippers bullpen in the last two frames as the Bisons scored eleven times.
