The Yankees No. 10 prospect has allowed only 1 ER over his last 12 IP dating back to 4/27 in Reading, striking out 13 over that span. Selvidge’s 1.73 ERA leads qualified Patriots pitchers, while his 1.15 WHIP over five starts ranks second.
RHP Carlos Gomez (2 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 2 BB, 2 K) threw two shutout, no-hit innings in relief, marking his second consecutive scoreless outing. Gomez now owns a 0.73 ERA this season over seven appearances, totaling 12.1 IP with 9 K and only 1 ER.
