Emeralds Outshine Indians in Series Opener, 3-1

Eugene scored once in each of the first three innings and cruised from there as the visiting Emeralds defeated the Indians, 3-1, in front of 3,596 fans at Avista Stadium for the Education Day Game presented by KXLY AM 920/100.7 FM.

TOP PEFORMERS

Victor Juarez, Caleb Franzen, and Tyler Ahearn all tossed two scoreless innings of relief to keep the Indians within striking distance of the Emeralds.

Cole Carrigg, Dyan Jorge, and Juan Guerrero each had a pair of base hits in the loss.
